Title: I think I'm a FSO

I made a deal to sell my 1990. It's in rough shape but has a stage 1 cam and a verslavy. The sale price is $1500. It doesn't leave my ace for five more days but I already have seller's remorse.  :-[

As time, money and circumstances permit. There will always be another.

Keep yourself involved in the community here and on the lookout around you; you never know when something may pop up for for next to nothing from someone just wanting to clear stuff out.  It happens.

By strange coincidence, the 1990 Savage that I learned to ride on and the 2003 Savage that my wife learned to ride on have made their wY to the same garage. They were both purchased this week by a husband and wife. Makes giving up mine easier to take.

If  you already have seller's remorse, why are you selling it?   :-?

Life circumstances. Job transfer has me moving to a place that our bikes are not practical. As well, there is money issues but my money woes are my own fault. We are selling my Savage, my VStar 1100, our classic 1982 Virago and my wife's Boulevard C50. Plus most of our artwork and a large portion of my tools. Hopefully we dig ourselves out of the financial hole we are in. Losing $40,000 on our house isn't helping in that regard but waiting for a market rebound in a paper mill town is not a chance I want to take either.

I guess I am meant to be a Savage owner for a bit longer.  The guy buying my bike backed out of the deal.

Sorry to hear of your monetary woes, wishing you the best of luck in filling the hole and hopefully keeping the Savage too!  ;)

Powell River was booming when my brother lived there 20-25 years ago.Was a pretty good place to live.He ran a grapple/loader for a gypo operation. For the heck of it 3 months ago (when the snow was getting to me) I checked out real estate there.Pretty darn cheap compared to lower mainland BC,not good if your selling property, good if looking for a retirement place.
