Title: My project is going strong but...
Post by Desertpunk on 03/28/14 at 13:22:26

Hello boys and girls!!! I am new to the forum and wanted to share my project with you, and get some guidance from the gurus of the savage world 8-)

Ok, question, I am on the making of the manual decompression system and want some info on how to set the electronics so, when I cancel the decompression solenoid the thing would operate as normal. Pics follow as the photobucket loads up!!!.... :P

It's a BSA tank from the fifties, so I have been told, took it from a friend that had it laying around, when I asked him if he had a tank for a project. If there is an anorak that knows to what BSA model belongs this tank will make me a favor!!! I have searched in the internet almost the whole BSA bike range and find lots of similar tanks but not the same....

reason for the manual decompression conversion is that there isn't enough room under the tank for the solenoid, but if is complicated to bypass/fool the electronics I will search for a way to disguise the solenoid and put it in plain view....

Go to the RYCA website and print the manuals, or go to the RYCA videos on YouTube.  They will show you what to do with the electronics when you take off the decompression solenoid.
