Title: Two up ride report - Fantastic
Post by horseshoe_george on 09/23/13 at 12:26:35

My new girlfriend wanted to ride so I have spent the season two up on the savage 06. I have done most of the upgrades including shocks and fork brace. I weigh 205 and she is 180 so we are just a hair below the GWVR.

I was astounded at the cornering which has improved with the extra person the thing just rides like it is on rails. Acceleration is of course reduced but we can still pass cars and go on the highway.

You have to think ahead when stopping as distances are up by 35-40%

All in all the little bike handles the extra person real well. I was pleasantly suprized.   :-)

That's great!  I must say I'm quite surprised it will pull that much weight with 2 bodies.

Went with the Hagon's. They have 3 preload postions. I ride solo in the middle and two up on full preload.
