Title: Home made clip on Post by Halvor on 09/16/13 at 13:36:38 It is madness to spend money on clip on when you can do it yourself! Get stainless steel tubes DN40 ISO-standard Ø42,4mm (2mm wall thickness) tubes fits very well for clamps on the fork. Get 2 pieces 1 inch OD, tubes 300 mm long. wall thickness 1,5mm is ok. Find 5 mm flat iron for the connection of the clamps. |

I angled the tubes a bit down to get better ergonomy. In the end I will take out the bolts and spacer sheeves and split the DN 40 tube. If you do not have friends in industry or a scrapyard with tubes from industry nearby. It is possible to buy short length tubes on Ebay. |
