Title: Handlebar wrap
Post by Petite Sauvage on 03/24/13 at 06:47:56

I would like to wrap my handlebars, and maybe the risers, with the same stuff I used on my exhaust pipe (standard stuff from Bluecollar Bobbers).  Does anyone see any issue with removing the brake and clutch brackets, wrapping the bar, and reinstalling them over the wrap?

Your wisdom is appreciated!

they will not fit over the wrap it will make the bars to fat.
i would be a lot less work just to put the wrap up tight to them.

Not sure of the exact look you want, but several wraps are available for gun stocks and barrels. They are thinner, and some even stick to themselves, not the barrel, so they can be removed later with no damage. Camo is the main color, but colors are listed by some companies.  :)
