I want to ask you a little help. since at us in Russia the season has already ended, and ahead of a long time for the inspections of thoughts and repair... so actually question. when I went on a motorcycle in the summer I have had this situation . when I stopped the engine there was a distinct thud under left side engine cover . the other day I took it off and looked at the state of the starter clutch . as usually, this node is the cause of such knocking . tried turning all the gear-no paper jam or damage I saw . in what may be the reason, please tell me? |

I know that the savage 400 is not sold in the United States and many other countries . constructively the savage 400 and savage 650 almost identical . and the starter clutch on my savage looks like this http://www.savageriders.com/verslagen/Starter%20Clutch%20Upgrade/old-in-old-case.jpg visually it is as if everything looks fine. maybe you know how to verify the starter clutch or support bearings of the crankshaft? so as not to disassemble the engine is completely... |
