I bought this filter on ebay and realized that the filter is silver instead of pink like the one that Ryca sells.

Is there any difference between the two?

The new virgin un-oiled cotton inside the mesh is white.

The oil is red --- presto change-o !!

The ebay one doesn't have the oil on it yet. That is what a freshly cleaned K&N filter looks like.
