Title: Don't make a stink... wear your Pink!
Post by Sunchasers on 10/12/11 at 08:11:53

As you may already know, October is Breast Cancer awareness month.  I have changed my icon for the month in honor of my Sis, Skat, and all the other women fighting this terrible disease, but my Savage has been sporting pink ribbons all season and will continue to do so until they win... Go Pink!

Awareness is not enough.

the link has been found between the cause
and the cancers (breast, prostate, etc).

(quite complicated but) simply put:

1.- animal protein triggers it (ALL meat, dairy, eggs)

2.- refined sugars feed it (high fructose corn syrup & ALL sugars)

3.- constant consumption of Acid Forming Foods tips the scale
and your immune system system cannot keep up.
(beware of aspartame and soda pop!)

Do Not argue or contradict me, do your reaserch.
it's not genetic either (people simply eat the same
crap their parents did).

vegetarians & vegans were right after all.

the system is against you simply because
HEALTY PEOPLE DO NOT MAKE ANY MONEY FOR BIG PHARMA
OR THE HEALTH CARE INDUSTRY (nor would need health insurance).

wake up!

there are many films, studies and documentaries about this.

A good start would be:

* sweet misery
* forks over knives
* food inc.

godd luck to all.

I guess Stimpy missed the whole purpose of my post.... to renew support to those currently fighting this disease..... :-/

I didn't miss anything.

This is just MY way of "supporting" this effort.

We ALL have friends and family that have died/are dying
from all sorts of cancer, it's sadly the norm today.
I'm slowly running out of familiy myself.

(with major viral disease now erradicated) The human body
is designed for living 120-130 years of age (or more?)

...but nowadays it is simply UNNATURAL to be seeing a
whole generation living LESS time than their parents did.
Think about it.

It's our (western) diet, gmo's and pesticides,
no doubt about it (god just look around at all
the fat, sick children!). Best wishes to all.

Save the boobs !!!!!!!!!!

I also 100% agree with stimpy.

Eat as nature intended humans to eat. Quit eating food and products made in a factory/by humans for the sole purpose of generating revenue.

Just because you eat garbage and you don't yet have cancer doesn't mean it doesn't cause cancer. My mom has been smoking a pack of cigarettes a day and doesn't have lung cancer, but you cant say smoking don't cause it/shitloads of other health problems !  ::)

Congrats Skat!!  Hope they have gone well for you!  My sister has two weeks down and five weeks left to complete her radiation treatments.

When I was finished with radiation on Friday and came out of the death-ray room, they had a bubble machine blowing bubbles at the doorway I walked through, and then they presented me with a diploma/certificate of completion.
It was signed by all the techs and my radiation oncologist - very nice.

Then yesterday a group of friends came from Raleigh and Cinncinati and we spent the day together hanging out and hitting the antique and art-glass shops. It was a perfect day, and there have been so few of those this year that I cherish them when they come along!  :)
