Title: Winter riding
Post by TheSnakeLady on 02/20/11 at 08:56:34

I live in Central New York and I've been dying to get out and ride BUT... it's 15* out today and still quite slushy from the drifting snow that we had yesterday.  However while I was out and about (in the car) doing some errands I came across an unusual sight, someone out riding a gz250.  Seriously, out in the cold, snow AND slush, riding directly in front of a city plow truck.  LOL, I thought to myself "that guys gotta have a big pair", but after some consideration I think he's prolly either really desperate to get somewhere or just plain stupid. ;D

Not a big pair, not desparate, not stupid.    Just someone who does not like being in a cage.

It was a warm 23 when I left my home this morning.

60 degrees is my limit,I ride for fun and below 60 isn't fun to me,But I am old that makes a difference. That 60 is if the sun is shining.

Got out for a ride for a few hours today, around 60 and the sun was trying to shine. Felt good just to be out of the house!!!!
