Title: Making some progress Post by SavRon on 12/31/10 at 16:54:14 Got the bike in the garage and worked on her all day. Mostly just cleaning her up. Installed new saddlebags and highway pegs. Got the battery on trickle charge over night. Tomorrow will change oil/filter and add new gas and see if she fires. I could kick myself in the A$$ for letting her sit in the shed for over a year >:( . In the 50's here today and I coulda been out riding. Few bikes went by the house today. Glad to see somebody taking advantage of the heat wave. Maybe I'LL pop a few miles tomorrow if all goes well. Temps are gonna drop into the 30's on Sunday and more snow coming. Do they make snow tires for the Savage ???? ;D |

She's cleaned up, fresh oil and gas and I just got her running and went for a quick ride..burrrr. Won't let her sit idle like that any more , too nice of a bike. |
