Hmmm, they act as if they have no idea who was on duty. Cant be too many potential suspects. Dont they contact HQ occasionally with info about where they are? Ill bet they could eliminate several bike cops real quick & be down to just a few real potential cops to look at.

(disclaimer: I watched the video with the sound off)

What's all the buzz about ?  :-?

European motorcycle police do it quite frequently, when on traffic escort.

Man, you'd want to see the Carabinieri escort our President through the narrow alleys in Rome... :o

Ohh, seems some folks think that kinda riding is "reckless" & possibly "Endanger others" & therfore it is considered to be less than responsible. Considering cops are supposed to obey the law & not behave in squidlike actions, this stuff gets a big thumbs down by the anal & worried.
Hard to write a ticket with a straight face for someone else after doing that.

That said, I commend the guy for riding it.

In them old days, cities were defended by high walls and fortifications.
The only other way to defend yourself was to build houses close enough to each other that three men abreast could block the way.
This principle lasted centuries, not just a few years.

So, whenever in Florence, Siena, Venice, wherever, you will find that often even the most prized neighborhoods have one-way alleys, rather than 6-lane boulevards.

On the other hand, we didn't have herds of cattle to drive to the train station...

AND

You can't just push a building over a few feet to make space for cars to park..

:)
