Title: this just in
Post by mick on 11/11/10 at 22:52:15

59 million Americans went without health insurance for at least most of 2010 Many of them with conditions or diseases that needed treatment,
Federal health officials said on Tuesday.

What a lovely state of afairs we have here , if it keeps going like this we will have doctors coming in from other countrys to help us.
Just like we used to do.

And yet, for some reason, there are still people from all around the planet risking death and jail to get here.  Curious.

Not saying it can't be improved, but it's still a darn nice place to be.

probably so, they are the ones that get free health care when they get here and push the prices up for you and other tax payers.

and in today's irony
"AARP says it is changing copayments and deductibles to avoid a 40 percent tax on high cost health plans that takes effect in 2018 under the law. Shifting costs to employees lowers the value of a health plan; it's like an escape hatch from the tax."

isn't that funny? people with good insurance will have to pay a 40% tax on it, guess we can't have that.  Thanks gubmint, where would we be without you? gotta make it all fair for everybody.

Goat, since you hate this country, it's president, and it's "gubment" so much, perhaps it's time you move on to some country more to your liking.

Guys, you wanna see a PSY-OP ?

OK, no problem, it's right there in your pocket.

Shove your hand in your pocket and pull out a handfull of pennies.

The "old ones" have President Abraham Lincol's profile on one side, and the Lincoln Memorial on the other.

Now look closely at the "new ones" (2010 pennies), and waddaya see ?
Lincoln's profile on one face and the "E Pluribus Unum" shield on the other face.

This immediately reminds me of Marvel Comics and Captain America.

This is strictly a personal view, of course, but please keep in mind I spent my childhood in the US and did all my Elementary & Junior High School in Virginia, so I know what I'm talking about.

It IS a PsyOp, more precisely a "Consolidation Operation" made to enhance the "feelgood factor" and "regain national confidence".
It is done subliminally by having that subtle, yet omnipresent symbol of the Superhero at arm's reach, the Paladin of the weak, Defender of Justice, etc.etc.etc. ...

AND

Let's not forget the Avengers

Next thing you know, they might even be looking at a new Dollar bill...
