I have the taller stock handlebar risers, anyone with the shorter ones want to switch? I found the short ones on eBay but the price for shipping was a bit much for how small they are. Let me know!

Im in the same dilemma...so Ive taken the bolt out of the taller and am off to the hardware store to find a longer bolt that fits through the riser dampners.

I assume you have the drag-style bars? Are you gonna keep them? I switched to some buckhorn bars, but just eliminated the tall piece from my stock risers. Just mounted the bracket that runs under the bars directly to the tree.

Yep,just take the risers apart,and put shorter bolts in the top halves.That's what the factory does.

Ahhhhhh, thanks guys, I was under the impression it was one long solid piece. Good stuff. I'm switching my stock drag bars to some Z-bars and they'll clear the tank nicely. Thanks!
