Title: Tony Curtis
Post by TheFid on 09/30/10 at 06:46:06

I'm sorry to see that Tony Curtis has died. He was one of my favourites especially in my youth. We used to get our hair done in the style he wore.

Gotta hand it to the guy -- even though he was generally regarded as a lightweight, every now and then he'd turn in a great or near-great performance.

"Some Like it Hot", but we all liked Tony!

He was looking bad in his old age, but he sure was one hot lookin man in his good days!  I will make sure my mother heard the news.

A fine actor,I still try and get my hair like he had it.
they never mentioned his role as the Boston Strangler in his credits,
He did star in that movie didn't he ?
Anyway I always liked him.

Tony Curtis was an extrodionary actor. I enjoyed several of his movies. My all time favorite was Some like it Hot. Starring Walter Matheau and the sexy Marilyn Monroe and of course Tony Curtis. My other favorite one was Trapese I belive it was called, starred Burt Landcaster another great actor.
At least we have his movies that will be around for enjoyment for years to come..  kim

He was not seen in the movie in the first hour.

He was believable no matter what character he played.  Ones I really liked were "Houdini", "Taras Bulba", "The Great Race", and "The Boston Strangler".

He was pretty funny in Operation Petticoat. I read last night that he really served in submarines during wwII.  Also didn't know Jamie Lee Curtis was his daughter until last night!

My wife was reading that in the paper, she goes " I don't think Jamie Lee Curtis is really all that attractive, do you?"

".... ummmm ... no(?)"

;D

I watched Goodbye Charlie yesterday.  I'm pretty sure I saw it way back when.

Glad you got to see it,... hope you enjoyed it...

I downloaded all the parts and tried to combine them, but the varying sound bitrate stopped me...
Anybody know a fix?...
Has to be fairly simple,... 'cause I am... :-?...
