this poem was written by a cockney in the cockney dialect, these guys always drop their H es like my hat would look like "me at",I will try and remember it.
I put an at upon me ed,to make me self look taller.
A big wind came up and took me at, it took me ed
                      aswell, now I'm even smaller.

I read it as:

Spring iz sprung, da grass is riz
I wonder were da boidy iz
They say the boid is on da wing
But dat iz absoid
Because da wing iz on da boid.

The snow is gone.

The snow is back.

In Michigan this is a fact:

Nine months of winter, and three months of dam poor sledding. (And biking.) :o

Truth is beauty,
in beauty find truth.
Four parts gin
one part vermouth.

Why on earth so much vermouth?

OK, we'll change it.  Pick the monosyllabic number of your choice:
5,6,8,9,10 or 12

And the poem doesn't mention the olive.

I was a bartender for many years when I made Martini's ,I used to put my olives in a glass of vermouth , and after I stired the vodka or gin, just drop the olive in the glass ,there you go "Perfect",I soaked the onions as well in case you wanted a Gibson.
