Mick, I have to agree. Its sad to say, but I would rather see humans treat each other badly than someone treat animals(dogs) badly. My best friend is a German Shepard/Basset Hound mix. He may not be the most handsome dog, but he is loyal and protects my family. http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx270/mikelh82/l_658eb2f662e573290efe8ab3bc255f0e.jpg and here is my husky, the other woman that runs my life, lol http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx270/mikelh82/january07006.jpg |
Title: Re: ihasahotdog Post by babyhog on 08/15/10 at 13:00:25 They are adorable Mike. I took my new Bugg (Pug/Boston Terrier mix, I have concluded) to be neutered last Thursday. Everyone at work said he'd be mad at me, but he was so happy to see me when I picked him up! "I" didn't do the surgery, right?... He hugged me all evening.... that's love. |

We claimed she was a GermanShep/Whippet, but the DNA testing said she is one quarter Akita and each eighth part Bernese Mountain Dog, Golden Retriver, Doberman Pinscher, Weimaraner, Border Collie, and Yorkshire Terrier. http://www.dslretorts.com/Paladin/archives/002752.html That little white thing is not a dog, it is a Jack Russell. |

she is eight human years old,yes still have her. And for Mike she is half Visla and half golden retriever, I got her at the pound when she was 8 weeks old. And what I thought was amazing the very day I got her home she made a mess in my hallway,I picked her up and put her nose about an inch away from the offending turdette, I then took her to the door ,I lifted her paw and made a scratching move, that was the first and last time she ever made a mess in the house,I have never had a dog learn that fast. |

choose wisely,do you have room for a dog to run and play safely ? Generally the bigger the dog the shorter the life span. And Mutts are usually smarter than AKC dogs, But ther are no bad dogs ,only bad owners, So please let us know if you get one, you will love the experience, have you had one before ? I have always had a dog in our family but I had never chosen the dog, as a kid my Mum picked the dog,as a husband my wife picked the dog, the one I have now I picked out on my own,and she is the best little pal I have ever had. Good luck. |

Title: Re: ihasahotdog Post by LostArtist on 08/17/10 at 21:42:36 no, I don't have room for a dog, I think my apt complex allows them but there's a pet fee or something which is fine, but I have a really really small apartment so no deal right now, but I might use that as a reason to do more work and get out of my current small apartment sometime. . . we'll see |

better have your dog checked for worms ...dragging the butt on the floor like that is a sure sign of worms. you need a bench to work on dude nice weight you are doing though, keep it up [you are missing out on at least 1/3 of the range of motion by doing the press on the floor you should also keep you back and butt on the bench for proper form ...raising you back/butt in the air is cheating your muscle group of full benefit of the exercise] just an observation |

Title: Re: ihasahotdog Post by Jay on 08/25/10 at 00:18:45 I heard a fellow once say that a dog'll love a man more than any woman can. He went on to say that if you didn't believe him, lock your dog and your wife in the trunk of the car for an hour. See which one was glad to see you when you opened it back up! ;D |
Title: Re: ihasahotdog Post by babyhog on 08/25/10 at 07:32:32 Very funny Jay. Duh huh. Lock me in a trunk and you'll be lucky to get to sleep with the dog!
