Granted, a Miata is much nicer, but I would like to see them compared on a skid pad. That thing looks likie an overgrowm go-kart, BUT, I bet it wouldnt hang with the Miata in a right turn. Now, a left turn,, Id be bettin on the sidecar.

W model flathead 45 inch engine.  Tough and dependable but not very fast.  I have had two of them, one in a w model bike 1949 and one in a 53 servicar.  In stock form they produce about 22 HP and rev to about 5 grand or so.  In racing trim they could be made up to Maybe 40hp.
Harleys flathead racer was the K model and much more powerful.
Before it ceased to race the R&D folks at Harley had it up to about 90 hp at 7800rpm, awesome specs for a 45 inch flatty.  In about 68 Harley entered the modern world with an pushrod version built on the old K model engine that produced more than 100hp but wouldn't hold together long the first season.
