every real doctor and scientist knows
that the FDA is a complete joke.

Diet anything was always banned in my
house, my mom worked for Merck and
my dad is a doctor and have always told
me stories about the bad side effects
and allergic reactions they always see
soon after new drugs hit the market.

This IS the test phase, rats and humans
are worlds apart because of drug interactions,
genetics and environmental factors, and this
cannot be recreated in a lab.

Every real doctor knows that all one really needs
is good food, exercise, some aspirin and the occasional
good ol'fashion antibiotics, but nothing from the 3rd and
4th generation of antibiotics since they destroy your liver
and immune system, and you'll need a pill for that too  :D

Most new drugs are just a well long planned fix for a fix of an old fix.

** and every doctor also knows about the 5-7 day a year
all inclusive simposium at the beach sponsored by big-pharma
so everyone can get drunk, mingle and they can push their
new line products that you have in you medicine cabinet right
now, and I've been to these things and let me tell you, they
spare no expense!"

Oh, I forgot, there 's a great movie about exactly this called:

Sweet Misery

After 7000 miles, and 25 hours of footage, "Sweet Misery"
reveals one of the most pervasive, insidious forms of corporate \
negligence in the history of the industrial revolution.

The toxic long-term effects of aspartame are often dismissed as a
"hoax" by the sweetener industry and at least five other Internet
websites. The real footwork, however, unravels something less
comforting than a mere "Hoax." "Sweet Misery" is a documentary just
released by Sound and Fury Productions:

"Aspartame is inherently, markedly and uniquely unstable in aqueous
media" is a quote from the congressional record in 1985, yet it was
approved for use in soft drinks and other beverages.

Having my first child this topic is somewhat in my foremind.. Hmmm i thought in the U.S. aspartane and Phanylanyline (flappy fanny as its called in my house) was banned in the use of soft drinks. Is this information incorrect?

Nop, sorry, not banned at all.

On the contrary, nowadays you'll find it in just about
everything  because the stuff is waaay cheaper than
sugar or even nasty ol' corn syrup, watch the film.
Food matters, food inc. and king corn i also recommend.

"Naturally occurring phenylalanine, found in dairy, soy,
fish and nuts, has been shown to have no ill effects on people.
however, aspartame, which contains phenylalanine, has been
demonstrated to have a number of detrimental health effects,
including aspartame poisoning and other brain and neurological
problems".

I know tell me about it we spend ages in tescos (im from england) trying to find soft drinks that dont contain both those things. We eventually found a winnie the pooh drink in several flavours that didnt have either of those things in but 4 months down the road they have stopped stocking them for some reason... I bet it contained something else in it that was bad but I didnt recognise any other 'bad' ingredient. maybe they werent seling alot of them coz they were more expensive then the other brand drinks but not by much.

Ive seen good products no longer stocked. Ive studied ingredients & I can tell you, they didnt remove the winnie drink b/c there was some scary thing in it. They did it because they want you eating/drinking poison.

My wife went to morrisons today just on the off chance and low and behold she found the winnie the pooh drinks. So we've stocked up on those for now.

Generally, if it is processed, comes in a box or a can or it is ready made to be cooked in your microwave it is NOT FOOD.   Fresh fruit, vegetables and meats are food.  You should be able to look at it and know what is in it.  I don't read ingredients because I made it.

True making meals is the way to go but I was actually talking about soft drinks.

well, it seems that one is curbing the other keeping both at bay!  excellent ;)
...happy B-day btw  8-)

The guy who invented the microwave wouldnt have one in his house.

...hahaha, didnt know that; a friend of mine and I have an insider
joke about that, and the punchline is that nobody gets the joke.

Q: What was the first thing the confused time traveler said upon arrival?
A: What year is it?!!  Have microwaves and cellphones been banned yet???!   :D

We ditched our microwave about 8 years ago. After about 6 months, I stopped missing it.
