looks interesting
similar to a springer setup I saw on a bike in some mag
it had a springer front end and a open rear spring aligned like this shock.

Looks like a hard throttle twist would drop the rear end down by compressing the shocks.

jog i think you are correct about a twist of throttle squashing the springs, sorry no more pics.
