Has anyone here shortened this .. i imagine yes is the answer ?

Im thinking off cutting mine down now im going solo seat.

Dont want to get another if i can get away with doing this.

The PO shortened mine to the point that it wouldn't support a second rider, but that wouldn't be a problem in your case, since you're going solo.

Here is a pic of the shortened fender vs the replacement that I put on my bike. After taking it off and seeing how flexible it was, I would be hesitant to cut much off the sides of the fender, but there's a whole lotta tail on the back that could be removed.

I never had intentions of modding to that degree, and agree with your terminology  ;D but I did take of the front fender and replaced it with a stock one and still have it on the shelf. I didn't think he did nearly as bad of a job on the front, and maybe someone on here would like it...
