Title: The pop from the exhaust
Post by Tater on 04/26/06 at 12:11:50

I have read what you are all doing to get
rid of that anoying pop. My problem is that
I cannot find a 152.5 main and a #55 pilot
jet anywhere in my area. Heck I couldnt
even get a 1/2 spacer or 2#4washers from
any of the dealers around here. If someone
could get them for me I would send you out
a money order to cover your costs. please
email me mmogrod1@epix.net

Not to be rude or anything, but you've got the same access to the internet that any of us do.  Do what we do... if ya can't get it locally, order it online!

You can order the jets from any big cycle dealer. You make the 1/2 spacer by sanding down the original plastic spacer. I bought an extra from Suzuki and sanded that down.

Radioman, I think he stated he/she's new to the computer world.

Tater, you can find most anything by Googling it - do a search at http://www.google.com

A couple good online dealers:

http://www.bikebandit.com

Just click on the blue links and you will be magically transported there  ;) ;D

Yeah, in a later post in a new thread.  Wasn't really made evident in this one though. :)

If you're in Dallas, you can likely stop by any HD dealer and pick up at least the main jet, if not both - usually around $3 to $4 each.  They use Mikuni carbs too.  Call them first to be sure what you want is in stock.  The main is the Mikuni large round main.
