Title: Speaking of the Reserve Post by SeattleSavage on 04/24/06 at 19:32:36 Has anyone noted how far the reserve will get you? (hopefully not) I've had to switch it there a couple of times in the last week or so. I've been near by a station so it hasn't been a problem. I haven't done a search yet, so maybe I'll do that now. The reserve portion holds 2.5 litres, 0.6 US gals., or 0.5 Imperial gals. So, the reserve should be needed after you have used up 8 litres, 2.2 US gals., or 1.8 Imperial gals. of fuel. I have found that once I switch to reserve, I can drive a bit more before finding a gas station at a decent price(lol). DianeS. |
