Title: stupid question ? Post by tfrawg75 on 04/21/06 at 12:26:08 this may be a stupid question but I need to know I was cleaning my bike and saw that I'm missing one of the bolts that hold the exhaust on the head. I have'nt noticed a leak but would still like to fix it. My question is due to the high temp there do I have to get the bolt from the dealer or could I just take the other one into the hardware store and match it up? Any help will be greatly appreciated |

Title: Re: stupid question ? Post by Manxman on 04/24/06 at 08:13:41 I lost a header bolt and replaced both with stainless steel allen heads. Much easier to remove and replace. Infact, any time I need to replace a nut or bolt on the bike I replace them with allen head stainless. Got them from a local hardware store that had lots of different nuts, bolts and screws. |

Title: Re: stupid question ? Post by tfrawg75 on 04/25/06 at 13:20:52 I was wondering that myself |
Title: Re: stupid question ? Post by 911radioman on 04/25/06 at 13:25:21 It's when your nut gets in a bind, you say "K, what do I do now?" ;D |
