Download below 11.8 Mb Owners Manual (http://www.savageriders.com/verslagen/transfer/2002_LS650P_Owners_Manual.pdf) Greetz Kropatchek ;D Right-click on the link and Save As... then open it with Adobe Reader. Title: Re: On-Line Manuals Post by Trouble on 06/27/14 at 17:50:28 http://manualmadness.com/suzuki-ls-650-savage/ There are only a couple hoops to jump through, like watching an ad to see your capcha, to get a safelink address to the actual download. Then the file itself is password protected. Password: manualmadness.com WARNING: $3 download charge. |

Title: Suzuki gasoline recommendation Post by sauvage on 09/01/16 at 03:24:36 From the Australian official Suzuki LS650 manual. Fuel Octane Rating https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 91 or higher (Research method RON) [this is the method used in Australia] If pinking or knocking occurs try higher octane or different brand. Canada The US also uses this method known as MON You m/c requires regular unleaded with a minimum pump octane rating of 87 [(R+M)/2 method MON] In some areas only oxygenated fuels are available. Oxygenated fuel recommendations Oxygenated fuels which meet the minimum octane requirement and the requirements described below may be used in your m/c without jeopardising the New Vehicle Limited Warranty NOTE: Oxygenated fuels are fuels which contain oxygen carrying additives such as MTBE (methyl tertiary butyl ether) or alcohol. Gas containing MTBE Unleaded gasoline containing MTBE may be used in your m/c if the MTBE content is not greater than 15%. This oxygenated fuel does not contain alcohol. Gasoline/Ethanol Blends Blends of unleaded gas and ethanol (grain alcohol) also known as GASOHOL may be used in your m/sickle if the ethanol content is not greater than 10% Gasoline/Methanol Blends Fuels containing 5% or less methanol (wood alcohol) may be suitable for use if they contain co-solvents and corrosion inhibitors. DO NOT USE fuels containing more than 5% methanol under any circumstances, fuel system damage and/or performance problems are likely and will not be covered under their limited warranty. To minimise pollution Suzuki recommend you use oxygenated fuels (ed: yeah right) Be sure any oxygenated fuel has the recommended octane rating If you are not satisfied with the drivability of you m/c when you are using an oxygenated fuel or if engine pinging occurs try another brand as there are differences between brands. |
Title: Re: On-Line Manuals Post by Andy RN on 05/23/17 at 07:48:13 I know I'm brining a post back from the dead here, but I feel a little nervous about giving my credit card info to either of the two websites listed here for DLing the SSM - especially since the users that provided them have under 20 posts. Can anyone verify, perhaps recently, that both of those websites are legit? If not - other sources for an SSM are appreciated, thanks!! |

If all you want is the user manual IT IS FREE if you right-click on Owners Manual in the first post by Kropatchek and then "Save Link As". That will download the .pdf to your computer. Now if you are looking for a Clymer's detailed repair manual, that's not what this is. You'll have to buy that separately somewhere outside of this thread. |
Title: Re: On-Line Manuals Post by Tocsik on 05/23/17 at 08:47:19 I bought my Clymer manual from Barnes & Noble online. $28 and well worth it. Felt pretty safe buying from them. |
Title: Re: On-Line Manuals Post by Andy RN on 05/31/17 at 22:08:45 So I bit the bullet and tried the "http://manualmadness.com/suzuki-ls-650-savage/" It's a scam. It's not the SSM... it leads you to a shady site where you can download the Clymer's Manual pdf. I lost $2.99... hopefully they won't take anymore - fingers crossed they aren't a more sophisticated scam. Oh, and thanks for your help, Tocsik, Stew. However, I'm looking for the Suzuki Service Manual (as opposed to Clymer's or the Owner's Manual): http://i.imgur.com/yqGnIir.jpg |
Title: Re: On-Line Manuals Post by stewmills on 06/01/17 at 07:15:44 Thanks for the input and sorry you got hit. That sucks...but at least it was $2.99 and not $299! If you did it with a CC I would dispute the charges. Yeah, I see now. The SSM is different than the stock "Owner's Manual". Don't think I have ever seen anyone here with a scanned copy of the SSM, but maybe if someone gets a copy they can take one for the team and scan it in 8-) |
Title: Re: On-Line Manuals Post by LANCER on 09/05/17 at 08:27:14 I bought a hard copy a few years back and paid about $18 for it ... it was used but everything was there. |
Title: Re: On-Line Manuals Post by KayFox on 12/02/17 at 15:24:08 I just bought from .suzukservicemanuals.com So far no email with the download :( |

Why wouldn't the mods remove this link if it does not take you to a legit seller? If a scam link is posted, and verified someone was ripped off using it, take it off the forum.... |

I wouldn't buy from a Romanian site anyway.[/quote] I just got scammed from suzukservicemanuals.com for $16.95 supposedly for the service manual. Also... notice that the URL isn't "suzuki"servicemanuals... it's "suzuk"servicemanuals. The domain suzukservicemanuals.com is registered to a company in Nassau in the Bahamas that has 22 URLs associated to the same address. Looks pretty scammy to me... I paid $16.95 through PayPal, received a download link in my inbox, downloaded the .zip file, and can't open it. Just thought you'd like to know. Mods... please pull this link! |

Title: Re: On-Line Manuals Post by penguinsscareme on 11/11/22 at 10:03:04 I just downloaded the entire factory service manual from scribed as a pdf, totally legit. I don't know how to upload it to the forum, but if someone can help me with that, I'll be glad to do it. Otherwise just email me at [redacted, see edit] and I will be happy to send it to you. We finally cracked the code on obtaining the factory service manual! It's a good day! Edit: I really should have tested this beforehand, but I'm finding out now that the file is too big for me to email. I have uploaded it on the Suzuki Savage Facebook group in the files section. Enjoy https://www.facebook.com/groups/32193768791/?ref=share |
