Hello - does anyone have a tachometer on their Savage or S40? I don't have one and I was curious what the RPM's are at various speeds. Lke for example 60 MPH in 5th gear, and idle speed? Thanks.

Try using the site's search engine. This is a fairly common topic and you should be able to turn up several previous threads quite easily.

I must not know how to use the search engine although it looks simple enough. I get "no search results" when looking for tach or tachometer. Can anyone enlighten me?

You're using the search facility in the banner at the top of the page? With the defaults you should get more than you want when searching for tach. In fact, I got a lot of attach and attachment in that search. I'd suggest possibly tacho if you get too many. No search results is baffling though unless you changed the defaults, purposefully or otherwise. They are set to go back 180 days in all forums by any posters.

5th gear...60mph...4000rpm
75mph...5000rpm
90mph...6000rpm
105mph...7000rpm

Thanks Rob, it was operator error. It works better when I enter my forum name.

You bet. I use that function all the time. There is a wealth of information on this site. It's just a matter of locating it.
