Title: Signal light
Post by Panther on 12/17/05 at 08:01:40

The right signal light of my '06 S40 is kinda of loose, because of the fall I took, on my first ride. I paid no attention to it until a few days ago looked like if it was going t fall off. Must of the ubber is exposed. I tried to push it in, making a litte difference. Is there anyway, I can fix this? Do I need to take every thing apart and go ghetto with it or do I have to buy a new set? Keep in mind that this is my first bike, so I'm new on two wheels mechanics. Thanks!

I fixed mine with JB Weld glue. It was dangling like a Christmas ornament after getting hit. I put a little JB Weld on it, pushed it in & held it in place with a strip of tape until it dried. I had to use Goo Gone to get the tape gunk off so I'd use electrical tape instead if I were to do it again. Been riding it for months since the fix & still on.

Love that J-B Weld. Used it to put some of my "Buckles" on as drawer pulls on a night stand. Kids had a fit but it turned out good. Husband used it to put emblem on in place of "suzuki" sign on sissy bar

check your state laws, signal lights may not be required.

if not  just strip em off,  nobody sees them anyway.
remember you are invisible when you ride.

the bike looks much better without them.
