Title: Haven't winterized her. Should I?

I'm taking the tack this year that I'm going to run Suzi as often as possible and take her out on sunny days even if it's five below (Celsius)!!  Starting her up all the time and she seems to be okay with a trickle charger on her.  should I have anti-freeze in the gas?

i never have,  and i put 98,000 on my last suzuki thumper.  i winterize me.   :o

any winter additives you may use regionally wouldn't hurt, keep the tank full.

go out and sit on it often, try balancing to see how long you can sit with feet on pegs.
or sit, close eyes and recreate some great ride you had this last year, or dream up a new one.  ;D

Hey Jim, In the past when I rode my bike during our cold winter months, I put in fuel stabilizer every tankful. It keeps old gas from crystallizing in the carb, and also resists moisture from forming. It claims to make starting easier as well.

Don't winterize your scoot, just keep a trickle charger on it with fuel stablizer in the tank. That way you are ready to get a ride in on that rare day when the sun is warm and road is clear.  ;D
