Title: Gear position Indicator Post by zukimans40 on 12/08/05 at 12:33:56 Hi all. Wanted to ask if anyone has a recommendation for a gear indicator for my s40. I have looked at the Acumen DG8 but I have been told it's for digital speedo's only. Would love to see if anyone has one installed on their savage(pic would be wonderful) and any feedback on performance. Thanks all. |

Title: Re: Gear position Indicator Post by BS37066 on 12/09/05 at 02:07:04 Good find! The turn alert here looks like something I need! http://www.riderstation.com/catalog/proddetail.php?prod=DTA I've seen requests for gear indicators on the Intruder Alert Site, http://www.intruderalert.com/, but nobody knew about the DG8. You might try there. With a 250 RPM difference between fourth and fifth gear, I have trouble remembering which one I'm in. |
Title: Re: Gear position Indicator Post by Hammy211 on 12/09/05 at 03:15:19 My bike is difficult to get into 5th, and for this it would be nice because I would know I made the shift. Although it would probably be easier to just fix that problem than try to install a gearshift indicator. |
