i always thought if the savage caught on fire,it would still look pretty deccent,come to find out its true!!

I tried a glasspack last year. I should have left it on & worked on the jetting. I ordered one with a medium offset to go straight back & I ran 2 stainless steel hoseclamps around it & through the bolt holes on that bracket. Used the stock clamp on front. Sounded like a bass drum & revved like crazy! Here was my source, (part # 42159. I had them leave it silver/unpainted)

The muffler looks good. I'd paint over the clamps to tone them down a bit.

It's nuthin a little laquer thinner and shop towels could'nt fix.....oh wait you meant to do that...lol   at least you dont have to worry about birdsh!t stains.
