Title: Throttle Cable
Post by salix20 on 08/25/05 at 08:35:39

Just bought a new S40 the other day.  Is there any way to stiffen the throttle a little.  Is there a heavier throttle spring that I can get ?  When I am crusing, it is so touchy, it is hard to keep it consistant with all of our wonderful PA road surfaces.

Thanks,
Jeremy

wassup, you can usualy tap the end cap in a little bit,but be sure you can turn the throttle smoothly,if you hit it to hard youll have cruise control! :)

Good luck

To keep a steady throttle in the dirt I developed the habit of riding with one or two fingers on the brake.  They kept berating me about it in the MSF class.
