Hello all my savage friends I had a favorite to asked will you all please say a special pray for my couisn who was in a bike accident 2 weeks ago and car pulled out in front of him , he is learning to walk all over again a young man with a newborn so I would really be thankful if you would whisper a prayer for him and his family....... Thank You , Deb. ( Tennessee)

Prayers have been and will be offerred for his quick and complete recovery. Hope all will be okay soon.

About a year and a half ago my nephew was involved in a terrible auto wreck that resulted in his having to relearn almost everything. After a number of months of physical thearpy etc. he is now back in college and doing just fine.

Deb, I'm so sorry to hear that. Not being particularly religious, I can't offer a prayer, but I'm sending good thoughts your way and hoping for the best for your cousin and his family.

Don't know how easy it is to see a bright side to this, but I'm glad he wasn't hurt worse, and he's still here for his baby.

Sure Lancer, his name is David and thank you all so much we are not sure at this time if he will ever walk are be able to take care of himself but all prayer and thougth are needed , again thank you all so.

sorry to hear of this, I will pray for David and his newbaby, I will also pray for the extended family as they go thru this trial. With God's help all is possible.

Thank all of you so much, I do belive in prayer, the update on David is not to good right now he has bad days and good one , we are not sure if he will ever be able to take care of himself yet but I will keep you all posted on his condition. Have a nice day!

Deb,

Stay strong for him and his wife(?) and baby. It takes a lot of time and work to recover from cord shock and related injuries. The forum members are here for you, him, and the rest of the family. In cyberspace, or if needed, in person. Get in touch with the local club chapters where David lives. ALL of the clubs, GWRRA, 1%ers, VVMC, AFMA, Blue/Red Knights, CMA, etc. When a rider goes down, the clubs band together and help raise funds for treatment and home modifications. The CMA tends to help with counseling and spiritual help for the whole family, as well as tangible assistance.
