Title: S40 Saddlebag Supports
Post by trapper_canada on 07/16/05 at 13:56:21

I bought some LS650/S40 Saddlebag Supports for the wife's S40.  Because there is no backrest, there is only one bolt to mount the supports to.  Where the other bolt 'should be' there is a small pin.

Is there something I'm missing?  did Suzuki skrew this one up?  Doesn't seem right having half the bracket just hanging there.

Not to mention it rattles cause its not bolted in on one part.

Any thoughts??

I just posted a picture of the Savage rear fender.  It shows the saddle bags supports and the bolts used for them.  That might help you decide.
