Title: Re: Stiffer shocks? Post by red2k1 on 06/08/05 at 20:04:39 Better shocks would be made by Progressive Suspension. Savage will not be listed, but VS800 Intruder shocks will fit. In the 412 series #4228C will work and give you about 1/2 inch lift in the rear (of the bike, of course). |
Title: Re: Stiffer shocks? Post by lancer on 06/09/05 at 17:42:03 If there is some sun in the morning I will get a pic of my bike with the replacement shocks I found...they were for a Harley (1/2" hole) but a 14mm titanium drill bit took care of that little problem. |
