Title: New thread about lights...
Post by cain9580 on 04/21/05 at 09:18:17

Little change of subject now that the lights are installed.  They are working like they should now to a point.  The front running lights are dimmer than the signal, and the rear lights up with the signal.

Only problem is that when I hit the switch for the turn signal the lights just get brighter and dont blink.  I even reconnected the gas tank and checked the indicators; no blinking on them either.

this is what i would do.
first disconnect lights and remove.
next take light and ground light to frame. then take one lead to a "hot wire" determine which lead is for bright element and which lead for dim element. then  reattach make sure good ground. then reconnect leads. and check to see if it works.  then do the next one.  by doing them one at a time you can tell if each one works before moving on the next.

i can tell you from experience you have something misconnected.

lights like sparkplug wires on a cage, should never all be removed at the same time. do them one at a time to make sure nothing gets mixed up.  this info would have helpefull before you started. oppss
