Title: My bike is haunted...
Post by WD on 03/17/05 at 23:40:37

It has to be!

How else are parts migrating into the house?

I keep seing this ghostly image...an orange Savage, with an antique truck tail light, fresh metalflake laquer job, properly stitched seat, hidden wiring, orange rims and hubs, rear white wall...

Can't be my bike...mine is faded Kubota orange, has dry rotted tires, a nasty seat, floppy wiring, and a bluedotted stock tailight.

Okay,  where's the exorcism book? Unless the ghost is a good mechanic...

I loath, despise, and hate blue dots  :o

Have you tried, a wooden stake, a silver bullet, garlic, Holy water, or even medical marijuana as a cure?

Blue dots are so 90's.

Well, actually, I have no opinion about "dots".  I don't know why someone would want to drill a hole in the lens and stick a different color plastic plug in it...but if they want to.  Okay.

Blue dots are a joke. I put it in there for laughs. Doesn't turn the tailight purple like it was supposed to. And the tail light definitely needed no add on help in the ugly as sin department. That stock piece is some kind of clunky once the pillion is yanked.

Hey, Gitarzan, the bike is a 98. That is soooo 90s. ;D
Actually, blue dots are TOO 50s. (Wish I could design a smiley that would cough up a hairball) :D

Actually I was being facetious too.  They are kind of tacky, still.  I remember seeing them on cars in the 70's.  They were tacky then too.

My 97 is so 90's too!

Ever notice how "tacky" can be so cool?
