Title: Re: Spark plug conversion Post by klx650sm2002 on 02/14/06 at 03:18:52 Denso do an iridium plug, IX 24 B. This plug has a 0.4mm centre electrode with a U groove tapered cut earth electrode. Clive W :D |
Title: Re: Spark plug conversion Post by Topi on 02/28/06 at 16:22:11 A note: If you switch to Champion the OEM plug tool won't work. The Champion has a smaller hex. Be sure to take one to the road! Small automotive, swivel type, works best. |

Title: Re: Spark plug conversion Post by srinath on 12/02/07 at 17:55:01 809 champions. I totally swear by them. NGK has taken a dump and I stared screaming about it back in 2003 on the gstwin website. Finally people are catching on. Viragoyech, savage and gstwin are all slowly out of NGKing themselves to death. BTW, pre 2003 NGK's usually would last forever. I had a 1989 GS500 I bought in 95 with japanese NGK's in it, no model number in english, all japanese. I held on to it as a novelty when I pulled it off and when I thought plugs are bad on anything I'd use that and its never failed so far. Cool. Srinath. |

Title: Re: Spark plug conversion Post by Ruttly on 06/18/16 at 09:47:32 Here's my 2 cents worth. For dink bikes(jap) I always stick with ngk or denso plugs. A lot of those fancy overpriced so called performance plugs show a listing for a bike, but their plug will cover multiple heat ranges so you never know what the heat range is for the plug you buy and most likely it's to hot. So here's where a kiss is best, keep it simple stupid. |
