Title: Iran talks Post by Serowbot on 05/06/26 at 11:13:07 It looks like the Trump admin is going to strike a deal that is weaker than the Biden deal that Trump cancelled because it was so bad Lives lost, billions spent, resources lost, economic chaos, allies lost, and nothing gained Even talk of restoring $20B of Iranian assets Gas prices up, petrochemicals and fertilizers up ballooning debt Putin made billions though Then onward to Cuba ... or Canada, or Greenland? Maybe a $1.000,000.000 ballroom and a Trumpian arch to celebrate When he's gone, it'll cost a small fortune to remove all that gold Filigree and signage from the WH but it will be worth it Let's put the frikkin' Rose Garden back too God knows what we can do to correct the East Wing damage |

Title: Re: Iran talks Post by MnSpring on 05/06/26 at 12:13:49 "... God knows what we can do to correct the East Wing damage ..." Wonder who pays for this ? "...Obama Presidential Center, sometimes called the Obama library, is not a single building but a 19-acre campus of museum, archive, and park elements on Chicago’s South Side. Public reporting places a core construction package near $482 million for four primary structures, and audited planning materials expand the total budget to about $830 million once exhibits and first-year operations are added. The project replaces asphalt lots in Jackson Park with a granite-clad tower, community forum, a Chicago Public Library branch, and reworked lagoon walks. That shift requires new road alignments and transit improvements. Illinois set aside about $174 million for roadway work around the site, and a separate $50 million upgrade modernizes the Garfield Green Line station,..." |

Title: Re: Iran talks Post by Eegore on 05/06/26 at 12:26:47 Wonder who pays for this ? You don't have to, it's public information. It is privately funded with the 350 million of private infrastructure coming from taxpayers. |

Title: Re: Iran talks Post by Serowbot on 05/06/26 at 12:59:53 Sorry, I said Biden deal when it was Obama Somebody get me a cognitive test ;D Anyway... I don't think Trump will get a better deal ... but he'll say he did |

Title: Re: Iran talks Post by Needles on 05/06/26 at 14:40:29 I'm still convinced that Trumpedo is not talking to Iran at all. He could have hallucinated/transmogrified/confabulated the whole thing. There's no proof that he's ever spoken with Iran since he started the illegal pirating operation. |

Title: Re: Iran talks Post by Serowbot on 05/06/26 at 15:57:35 It's very clear that what Trump says and what he does conflict Iran's reports are more trustworthy that the WH |

Title: Re: Iran talks Post by WebsterMark on 05/07/26 at 03:09:11 What war are you traitors watching? Iran has exported terrorist for decades. They are a disruptive force in the Middle East and beyond. We’ve essentially been in an under the table war against them for 40 years. Every president has said Iran can’t get a nuclear weapon by Trump is the only one who actually did everything. You can say all day Obama’s agreement was doing something but everyone knows it wasn’t. How foolish is it to believe the backstabbing Iranian leadership, which organized, paid for, and gave support to the October 7 attack on Israel, would actually live up to something written on a piece of paper? Look, the reality is Iran no longer has a Navy, they have some small boats running around that’s it. They do not have an Air Force. They lost the ability to attack in any great force. All they can do is lob an occasional missile now and then. No one knows with 100% certainty but it’s a very high probability, they have been set way back in their quest to make a nuclear weapon. I’m sure they’re trying. These are all good things for the entire world. I’m reading US Grant’s memoirs and it’s interesting every now and then as he describes conversations with southerners who joined “the rebellion” and how they can’t grasp the core issues. He might as well be talking about you traitorous, partisan, TDS infected, garbage. |

Title: Re: Iran talks Post by Needles on 05/07/26 at 05:30:39 We can't be traitors, according to Eyore. US policies and interference with their government are why they wanted nukes in the first place. If they are so bad, why did Reagan sell them weapons? And why launder the money by smuggling cocaine INTO the US? If their military is destroyed, what is the threat? How can they stop ships? Where are the drones and missiles coming from? Why do they still have them, if their military was destroyed? Why is the US lying to its own people about the damage its military took? Why believe an administration composed of liars, cheats, criminals, and pedophiles? https://www.rawstory.com/iran-2676857737/ |

And Again, PARROTING What TDS infected DFI's say, and IGNORE the Reasonable FACTS ! Title: Re: Iran talks Post by Eegore on 05/07/26 at 07:33:38 We can't be traitors, according to Eyore. Incorrect. I never said that in any way. Your inability to have an adult conversation prohibits you from acknowledging that the process for convicting humans of "TREASON!" in the US is different than the lying social media post you use as a reference. For instance Trump can be a traitor, and not be charged with TREASON! because of poor-process. Just like you, or anyone else, can be a pedophile and not be charged with sexual assault of a child because of poor-process. Also if rawstory is a "fake MAGA" resource when I use it, why is it not a fake MAGA website when you do? |

Title: Re: Iran talks Post by Eegore on 05/07/26 at 07:34:50 And 40 years ago. When this Nation actually believed Iran could be a part of this Spacecraft. To be fair you use events from 40 years ago, or longer, in your arguments as well. I do agree however that as administrations change, the outlook of their viability and security risk changes as well. Iran is obviously sponsoring/funding anti-US groups and has been for a while. |

Title: Re: Iran talks Post by Serowbot on 05/07/26 at 08:41:15 Nearly every week talks are going well, markets rise, and insider trading happens giving the Trump's and cronies a massive profit Then talks fall apart, markets drop, etc I'm not sure Trump wants an agreement right now This volatility is making fortunes I think he'll milk it for all it's worth and then sell pardons for insider trading Grift grift grift, on the backs of working people, then make a deal that's not as good as Obama had He'll hope gas prices will be dropping by election time, but he may be too late The real damage hasn't hit yet Those stranded tankers travel at the speed of a bicycle, relief will take a while |
