Title: Truth
Post by WebsterMark on 02/01/26 at 07:08:40

If you’re a conservative, saying men are not women, this is literal violence and you deserve to be shot in the neck.

If you’re a leftist, throwing rocks and bricks at federal agents, trying to run them over with your car, terrorizing churches, and beating up conservatives, these are all forms of peaceful protest, and anyone who tries to stop you is violating your civil rights.

The REAL truth is that Magats think it's worse to admit they got duped than to support a pedophile traitor.

Kirk was shot by a conservative gun nut.

 Nobody claimed he wasn't.

The other didn't happen.

YOU LIE!

I disagree.  Plenty of social media posts show otherwise in my opinion.

I was just in Denver and many people blocking traffic considered themselves "peaceful" protestors.  When I was in CA, pallets of concrete chunks to throw at National Guard members was part of the "passive" resistance.  I was "violating their rights" when I was filming them stuff chunks of concrete into backpacks.

So at least some people think that way.  Not all in my opinion, but some.

Agreed.  It is my opinion that I agree.

I assume we can conclude he was also Conservative because kids never have political affiliations that are different from their parents.

An opinion rarely comes from pure facts. It is shaped by interpretation, by what we notice, remember, and already believe. From that, we decide what we accept or reject.

Agreeing with someone doesn’t always mean true alignment. It can be recognition, irony, or a way to seek support when our own position feels uncertain. Agreement is therefore not only intellectual, but often social.

Despite the fact that children absorb their environment from an early age and thus have an imprint and conditioning, your reasoning is incorrect.
Children do not automatically inherit their parents' political views, and such assumptions ignore individual agency and variation.

So his parents being MAGA doesn't mean he must be a Conservative?  Imagine that.

Talk politics to any 17-18 year old. ANY. If they have a political view, it's the same as their parents. That's not a criticism; it just IS. They have no other perspective, at least until they're on their own for a few years. The ones that simply go with their parents' views because it's easy far outnumber the ones who actually analyze, take PoliSci courses, and actually watch the news on TV or other media.

I think that imagination is precisely the problem that the world is suffering from.

So, it's been established often, and by both parties, that more educated equals more "liberal".  That's exactly why Trumpedo "Loves the uneducated." (That was not a compliment, BTW.)

I disagree.  I know multiple kids that literally choose the opposing political ideology because they want to be different/rebel against their parents.  The majority I have been exposed to, like this weekend, were at anti-ICE rallies because their Conservative parents support Trump policy.

Others because their perception is that their parents are racist.  Is every child of racist parents also racist?

They have no other perspective, at least until they're on their own for a few years.

Again I disagree.  This implies opinion.  Millions use social media to formulate opinions on political stance.  About 140 high school kids walked out of school last week where I live, they didn't do that because their only influence is their parents.  Most did it because it gets them out of school obviously, but their political views came from their cellphones - not their parents.

That doesn't mean their views are accurate, it just means their parents aren't the exclusive source of information in their lives.

Some choose to agree with their parents.  Some choose to not agree because they want to be different.  Some choose because they are in a doom-scroll algorithm on their phone.

I find it highly unlikely that every single Conservative parent pair have Conservative leaning children because only their parents influence their perception of how the world works.

I,m clad you askt.

I would say try not to think for an hour. Then you'll see that it's impossible.
Then try not to be caught up in your thoughts for an hour.
Then you'll see that it's become such a strong habit that you can't do it.
And if you've tried it with all your attention for an hour, what a healing result it produces.
It's not for nothing that Jesus (who was a mystic) taught people to stop thinking and focus their attention completely on the heart.

http://https://i.imgur.com/6FBrc7A.png

And for the record, by heart he didn't mean the emotional heart or warm romantic feelings or sentiments.
The heart he was referring to is the neutral, subtle, meditative intelligence that we all are.

Daydreaming and thinking all day long, a person becomes denser and more rigid as they get older.

That's why we say, "Use your imagination."
That's different from being trapped because you believe strongly in your imagination and ideas and becoming a slave to it.

There's still wisdom in our language.
Maybe the mind was always meant to be used, not lived in?

"I find it highly unlikely that every single Conservative parent pair have Conservative leaning children because only their parents influence their perception of how the world works."

Trying to see sense in craziness is not going to work. I daresay the youngsters that revolted against their parents' politics were the smart ones. (Trumpedo set up these ironies with his hairball of lies; I'm not really this funny.)

It's really not Trump or his policies that bother you. It's also not the MAGAs you meet.
It's your own attitude and your judgments about them that make you feel this way.
Think about the power you give them over you.

Disgust about someone or something is simply disgust. And it feels the same whether you're looking at Trump or the contents of a bag of vomit. It's the disgust that doesn't feel good. And that's caused by your projection onto that bag or onto Trump.
Just don't project.

The key is unconditional love. And that doesn't mean you always agree with someone. Compassion doesn't mean you always pat someone on the head, but it,s a neutral quality within you that you can anchor in. Once you know that Quality, you work towards not being knocked off course by opinions, judgments, opinions, or any thoughts (projections). That's the work of a healer: to be balanced so that you can bring others into balance. This can be done with needles, but it requires devotion.

Suppose you have an acupuncture practice and a Maga comes in, and you can't put your political preferences aside. Then it's really time to work on yourself. Why don't you start?

The slightest judgment immediately pulls you into isolation. And then you're an outsider. You need to take a good look at why you judge. Because usually, people do that to protect themselves.  And if you're in that neutrality of unconditional love, what is there to protect?

What you don't realize is that you do it all yourself; you create your world. And you are fully responsible for it.
Karma is nothing more than a correcting hand of the life you want to lead back to your natural state. Your discontent points you to this state and nowhere else. It's life that says: you're looking on the wrong shore, cast your nets over the other bow.

If you can remain in unconditional love, then you'll no longer see people as Magas, and they'll no longer see you as a left-wing liberal or whatever identity you adopt. Or maybe they will. Who cares?

If Trump were in unconditional love, he wouldn't necessarily need to be president of America anymore. Or own Greenland.

But why do you ask of him what you don't ask of yourself?
I'd like an honest answer to that.

I don't WANT MAGATs to see me as one of them. If there IS a God, HE can do the lovin' and forgivin', because I got none to give 'em.  I'm not a pedophile, nor do I support them. I am not a traitor and I don't support them, either. The capitalist oligarchs have sold their line of sh1t for over two centuries, and it's obviously failed at last. US citizens WILL NOT be peasants, no matter what Trumpedo and his moron minions come up with. The safest thing for billionaires to do would be to fade back into the woodwork, and stop fukken with the government. That way they'll survive the revolution and still be rich, though they certainly won't be AS rich. I'm speaking with reference to history, every time the capitalists have done this in the past. It's also hypocritical as he!! for MAGATs to start saying "everybody needs to forgive" NOW, while they're being handed their A$$es.
