This took about 6 years to finally pass. My opinion is this took about 6 years to pass. The initial proposals were much more broad in my opinion.

Misleading. They can keep their private property. This is an opinion.

Antagonistic language without context. This is an opinion. COPA does not require below market sale pricing and "covered property" is almost exclusively properties that volunteer for State or Federal assistance or contain hazardous environment violations or a history of violations. Not entirely but mostly. The expansion of "future rulemaking" is a concern for property owners that have no assistance or violations however.

All means the same thing. This is an opinion. File for taxpayer assistance or need taxpayer funding to upgrade your property, you have to offer first chance to buy at market value to the public funded sector.

Having been to actual Communist economies I would not call this "full blown" Communism. This is an opinion. I definitely see issues with the future rulemaking, and I would prefer only dwellings in violation be qualified and not mostly those dwellings.

I also see how it can help mitigate issues like my associate whose property tax went up astronomically because an investment firm bought two properties next to him for millions of dollars. His home has a market value of 270,000, his taxes per-month are now higher than his mortgage ever was. So that's also a problem.
