So in your imagined reality where some get assistance and some don't, you would take away existing assistance to those that get it rather than give more to those that need it

Arizona, the state, has realized that it's actually less costly to provide some minimal assistance to undocumented migrants than it is to just ignore them. That is Arizona's money. Veterans theoretically get support from the federal government, not Arizona's money. The simple fact is that the VA, according to the law, SHOULD BE the ideal healthcare and support system. EVERY GOP representative has voted to cut the VA's budget to the point that it cannot fulfill its purpose. Don't try to deny it. Homeless Vets are the fault of the GOP. Once again, MAGATs are comparing apples to brussels sprouts...

Founded after Wellstone’s death in a plane crash in 2002, Wellstone Action has trained thousands of progressive candidates, campaign operatives and community organizers throughout the country, with alumni serving in local and state offices and in the U.S. House. In 2016, the last year for which tax filings are available, the group reported providing training to 2,135 data and digital strategists, 723 nonprofit leaders and community organizers, and 854 aspiring political leaders.

I don't want their money. I want them to stop using it to take things that were never for sale. Women's health, women's rights, voters' rights, minority advancement programs, living wages, respect for science, democracy--- those are all things MAGATs could not have taken away with their 6th grade ejikashun without the manipulation and funding of billionaires. And MAGATs don't even care that they were and are being used.

Let's see, the Roe vs Wade reversal allowed the MAGATs to severely cut women's health, with some moronic states making abortion a murder charge, which caused docs to refuse to accept difficult births, putting the mothers AND the fetuses at risk. They even charge the mothers if they try to get the care they need from anywhere else. Look up Texas, Tennessee, Alabama--- most any red state.
Then there's the closing of HUNDREDS of voting places, also in red states, in Democratic majority areas. Limiting access is taking away voters' rights. 47's removal of DEI lets the racists hire non-brown people, even if the brown person is MORE qualified. If you don't think the US OWES those people for hundreds of years of oppression and exploitation, you're just wrong. I have an English degree. If you don't understand what I'm saying, get a Dictionary.
