For every video like this there is a Boomer-fooled video where people outline how many "Boomers" can't distinguish between real and fake internet information for instance.

When it boils down to what I would rather know, would that be what Continent New Zealand is in, or what pharmacy is selling me fake medication? I'd rather know about the medication.

Also the guy in these videos is wrong a lot. He says new Zealand is part of Australia. It's in Oceana and isn't part of Australia at all. At KSU 4 women answered correctly before he found one that didn't. He also stated Latitude measures West to East. They have a few behind the scenes cellphone footage of this guy and 1, he will primarily ask women, 2 they edit out all correct answers, 3, there's a lot of correct answers.

I'd like to see the correct to incorrect ratios. Anyone can do what this guy is doing.

Is He in college? Does he know 3 cubed?. How many of those alleged HS graduates do? Why defend such a failed system?

Facts are not equal to defense. This is a guy who edits out correct answers. I would want to know what the ratio of correct to incorrect answers are. I do not use one-sided Observations to claim I know things. For someone that aced Observation in school you should know how flawed it is to only Observe 33.3% of an overall potential outcome.

Where was the outrage when the are you smarter than a 5th grader shows were on TV? Look how stupid all those humans were and they had time to prepare.

This reminds me of a special I watched about Jeopardy the TV show. All the contestants get time to study the categories that they will be given. When asked why they allow the contestants to know he said because all these educated contestants look like idiots when they are sprung random questions on the spot.

I do. I want to know if he asks 100 students what "continent" Hawaii is in, how many answered correctly. That's literally how you test knowledge. If we take the videos as posted 100% of college kids do not know that answer. Do you think every single student in college is wrong all of the time?

No,he's not Runnin a Scientific experiment to stand up to your scrutiny.
He's shining a light on the disturbing level of ignorance of college students. People who have graduated high school and are incapable of basic arithmetic and knowing what is, or used to be, things called
Common knowledge. He highlights the failure of the school system.

Jay Leno did a version of this starting March 22, 2000. They just went outside the studio in Burbank 25 years ago and had the same results. As I said before, when Jeopardy started they realized how may humans really only retain "general knowledge" that is applicable to them. A lot of on the spot trivia is failed, that's just how it goes.

Of course you can send teams out to do a survey and see how it goes.

Been there done that. Of 100 humans asked to point left or right without any prior knowledge of the question being posed while being filmed, 19 pointed the wrong direction. 88, yes 88 took more than 5 seconds to respond at all.

Of 100 humans asked to point left or right without any prior knowledge of the question but not being filmed, 7 pointed in the wrong direction. 7% pointed the wrong way when asked to point to their left.

Of 100 humans asked to point left or right with prior knowledge while being filmed, 4 were incorrect. Four.

Of 100 humans asked to point left or right with prior knowledge, 100 were correct.

It's higher than I would like to see, but I am also not surprised based off applicability. In the footage I witnessed of this specific YouTuber asking a question took 3 minutes 17 seconds to ask 4 people that were correct.

Lets say 30 per hour just give them plenty of time, that's 120 in 2 hours. If a video has 20 incorrect answers then 16.6666667% of humans were wrong in that 2 hour interval.

This is a good example of applicability retention. Some humans would have the exact opposite outcome as they have no applicability retention for numbers but would for spatial placement. This here is an example of why I personally don't really believe trivia questions are examples of "general knowledge".

"General knowledge" to me, is knowledge of things that apply to you. This is my opinion.
