Title: Which Tube?
Post by digitaltrucker on 07/14/25 at 14:10:53

I'm getting ready to replace the tires, gonna do the tubes and protectors too of course.  Thing is, there are two different tubes listed for the rear wheel.  One is just "tube", part #65200-38A70 (which supersedes 65200-26F10) and the other is "tube assembly", part #65200-26F11 (which supersedes 65261-24B01).

What gives?

All those numbers come up as "Tube Assemblies" for me.  Prolly the tube, plus two nuts on a TR-4 valve?  Don't forget about the "Protector", which is what they call the rim strip.

Just speculating, but I'd guess that one was from IRC and the other was from Bridgestone.

Personally, I wouldn't go with a Suzuki labeled part.   You know that they are sourced from a rubber manufacturer.   The Suzuki label just means paying another markup, and getting a tube that has probably sat on a warehouse shelf longer.

I think Michelin makes the best tubes, but a couple of Kendas I got were surprisingly good for the $.  Some aftermarket tubes seem real thin and fragile.  I don't mind spending more if I'm getting something for it.  Something other than a brand name on a piece of paper, anyway.

Maybe this Bridgestone 140/90-15 TR-4 would work:
