Title: Trade deals everywhere
Post by Serowbot on 05/26/25 at 08:33:46

Except US
Canada is severing ties with the US a making deals and alliances in Asia, Europe and Mexico
Seems like everybody is partnering up and leaving Trump out

Boeing is shutting down 7 US plants and moving them out
Same with US Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, and Ford
Docks are empty and workers are layed off
Truckers too Retailers are wondering how they can stay in business
Tourism is down 25% and plummeting
100,000 of jobs going away, maybe millions

Trump was going to end the Ukraine and Hamas wars on day one
He's now given up completely

Crop deals are being canceled and farm workers are losing their farms

Doge has put our government into chaos
10,000's fired

Is this the MAGA you were looking for?
MAGA

DOHA – State carrier Qatar Airways signed a deal on May 14 to purchase jets from US manufacturer Boeing, during US President Donald Trump’s visit to the Gulf Arab country. He said the deal was worth US$200 billion (S$260 billion) and included 160 jets.

Boeing is shutting down 7 US plants and moving them out.

 Not even close.  Boeing is shutting down factories that contain redundancies or do not manufacture the necessary equipment for their increased production.  This is standard and necessary consolidation.

Same with US Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, and Ford

 If by "Same" you mean also wrong, then yes it is the "Same" as the Boeing shutdowns and "moving them out".  Ford is conducting partial shutdowns at the Louisville plant and the Chicago plant, but not moving out.

;D
The US auto and airplane industry is screwed. Yes, Boeing signed a deal with Qatar. NO, they won't build them here. Mostly they will be built in Canada and Europe. Newsflash: multibillion dollar corporations don't have any loyalty to a country any more than a billionaire does.

As for the auto industry, Ford and GM will fail; Chrysler already builds mostly overseas, being owned by a German corporation. The US builds inferior cars for too much money. Their "Buy American" propaganda campaign has run out of steam. The industry refuses to adapt to the world market. The only people who would be able to buy US made cars and trucks would be the US workers, and they don't have any money--- GOP refusal to increase wages has seen to that. BYD (Chinese) just took over the #3 spot of the largest car companies, right behind Toyota and Volkswagon. The US unregulated capitalist economy cannot hope to compete--- they pay their suits too much, and the workers too little.

Japan, South Korea, and China have been forced into negotiating trade agreements by the US's recent international FUs, led by dear leader 47.

The numbers of the  US's Allies in Asia has dwindled to Taiwan, plus what they can leverage from the Philippines.

47 has gotten what he wanted--- trade isolation from the world economy. That is to say US capitalism is on life support, and the generator is running out of fuel. The US cannot survive being cut off from the rest of the world. Being what 47 thinks is "strong" will not save the country. Call it the 1%, call it corporatocracy, call it unregulated capitalism; it's failing. Evolution is survival of the fittest. The fittest are not the strongest--- T-Rex is extinct. The fittest are those that can adapt to change, like any modern animal. It's about learning to live together.

As for the auto industry, Ford and GM will fail;

 What's your definition of "fail" here?  Like they will cease to exist?

Hell,he doesn't have a grasp of what has happened right in front of his eyes over the last five years. Who Givzaschitt what he predicts?

I mean they are all but irrelevant NOW; with the unregulated capitalism model, they will not recover. Unions could save them, as long as the execs take one helluva pay cut.  They won't do either, so they're standing on their own Johnson.

YOU, apparently!  ::)

South Africa has hit back at the ridiculous attempt at bullying 47 tried to pull off.
They've nationalized all US holdings, and stopped ALL mineral exports to the US. They don't just sell us lithium. They sell us platinum for catalytic converters, and pitchblend for nuclear fuel production. The news says they are stopping ALL trade with the US, and have already made deals with China and the EU that are better for them than the ones with the US. And, just to make it clear: White farmers are NOT being killed in South Africa. That's just another of 47's lies.

Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso have entered an international pact to do the same, and are encouraging other African countries to follow suit.  NOBODY in the world wants to deal with 47, maybe not the US FROM NOW ON.
