Who needs to accept a salary when you can receive a $400M plane as a "gift" from the Qatar royal family. The new Air Force One palace in the sky with a golden shitter!! But it only comes with 2 dolls that little Barron can play with.

I think it's a nice gesture.

Qatar is a completely different country than America, and in many ways we could learn a great deal from Islamic culture.

In their culture hospitality and generosity play a very important role. Rejecting it is seen as an insult if you don't have a compelling reason not to accept it.
It's a gesture to Trump and America that they want to work together and not a bribe attempt.

So Trump is doing well by accepting it.

Such gifts you receive with an open heart because that is what they want, they want your heart to be open And for that reason there is no limit to their hospitality. Because they give with their heart and the heart knows no limits.

In the West we no longer know what the heart is. It is more of a taboo here. Most people have lost contact with it.
In my country it is no different, you have to travel towards the former Eastern Bloc where it is still in the culture.
If you are in your Heart, it is immediately recognized.

And being in the heart does not mean that you are no longer assertive, quite the opposite.
It gives self worth and value to your fellow human beings.
