Title: Black wire ? Post by zipidachimp on 03/31/25 at 19:38:03 After checking my versy,(no movement last year) I noticed the black wire exiting the RHS crankcase appeared a bit worn. Lots of photos in the manual (pages 123,151,156,157) but no explanation of what this wire does. Help ? Cheers! 8-) |

Post by Ruttly on 03/31/25 at 22:20:25 Clean & dry the wire , then dribble or brush a couple of coats of that liquid electric tape( hardware store near black electrical tape ) Couple areas on my 55 F100 harness where insulation just cracked and fell off was touched up a bit with that , works great , dries pretty quick too. Stuff comes in handy for sealing up all kinds of things. And yes it’s the neutral switch wire. |
