Title: Re: More violence/Right wing extremists Post by Eegore on 03/01/25 at 21:22:44 If those were pro-Trump humans standing along the road like that video shows would they still be considered "rabid"? "Rushed to" seems like typical TGP rhetoric. They should definitely be able to enjoy time with their family, but then again peaceful protests are protected in the US Constitution. Would be interesting to hear if there were any direct threats or actions to impede public transit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGrD7lLQPLw |

Title: Re: More violence/Right wing extremists Post by zevenenergie on 03/02/25 at 04:44:04 It is and it is also looking again Re -Spect. Because it is logical that you first look with all your prejudices but then you have to look deeper. I think after the 6th that republicans have lost the right to complain about demonstrations. However, I think that the danger is increasingly coming from the left. We once lost a right-wing presidential candidate in the Netherlands. He was certain of a massive victory. He was shot dead by a left-wing activist. The left-wing people were afraid of his way of thinking, but his party that went to govern after his death, saved Rotterdam, the largest port city in Europe, from complete decay. He would have done the same as Trump. Namely show how corrupt and therefore incompetent governments function and how much damage that causes. By saying what he thinks and exposing things, he shook up the whole country. All sacred cows were turned over and a wave of relief went through the country. finally someone who named and tackled abuses. I fully realize that populism is a wrong trend, you need skilled people to govern a country well. But where politicians take too much power, things go wrong and the democrats have even taken moral power to themselves, Trump makes short work of it. And rightly so. America is a democracy. If you think that's important, then keep your hands off democratically elected leaders and their families. Because now you're focusing on them personally and not their policies, and that's harassment. People who harass other people are without exception people with physic problems. We don't take them out of society for nothing. Just look at how nice it is in prison. Even respect has a different meaning there. |
Title: Re: More violence/Right wing extremists Post by WebsterMark on 03/02/25 at 06:04:29 The American left has always been more violent and it’s not even a close contest. Part of the reason is you have to be partially insane to be so enthusiastic about leftist policies like open borders, abortion on demand, and socialism in general that you’d want to hit or kill someone. The violence during the antifa and George Floyd riots was off the charts and vastly underreported by the Democratically controlled media. When the Supreme Court eventually corrects the nonsense going on in lower courts today, I’d hate to be a neighbor of one of the conservative Justices. |
