the precision with which many ancient things were fabricated is amazing to say the least. I don't know what tools those stone vessels were made with but I doubt it was copper chisels, because really, what stoneworker would put such meticulous effort into such absolutely pointless precision seen in a simple vase.

raises more questions than answers if you ask me.
