And so screwed up in the head that she decided to Make a Statement.
She goes to a Christian school. Ends a few lives. Changes a Bunch of lives.
And thankfully, instead of reloading, off herself.
One report said there was some pro Palestine element. I don't understand how anyone so young could be so aware of conflict so distant, somehow feeling connected to that.
What were her idiotic pronouns? Was she a They Them? A He Him? A 9 MM pistol is nutjob, destroying lives.
Too bad an English teacher didn't shoot her before she was finished.
Ya want Common Sense gun laws? Let staff get qualified and carry.

It’s even worse. The reports I read this morning as she was only 15. There’s still a lot to come out and this is early on, so it’ll take a while. Or, it would be embarrassing to some viewpoints who wield power so they’ll censor it like they did with the girl in Nashville.

TC, you assume the armed teachers would be identified.
She KILLED a teacher. An unarmed person who was not Able to defend themselves.
Whether they Would have been armed, If it was allowed? Who knows?

Explain WHY it doesn't make sense to have armed people on campus.

The shooter who killed a teacher and a student Monday at a private Christian school in Wisconsin was a 17-year-old female student, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press.

The official was not authorized to discuss the ongoing investigation and spoke to the AP on the condition of anonymity. Police in Madison, Wisconsin, said the shooter apparently was dead by suicide when officers arrived.

CNN also reported:

The shooter at the Abundant Life Christian School in Madison was female, a law enforcement official briefed on the shooting tells CNN.

No word yet on if the shooter identified as “transgender,” as many are speculating online.

In her profile pics, Natalie, who goes by the name “Sam,” is dressed like a male, fueling the conception that this shooting was yet another done by a mentally sick member of the LGBT community…

Some of her writings are already online. She was a very depressed little girl. Sounds like she had awful, awful parents. She idolized the columbine shooters. I read a book with all the writings from the notebooks of the two columbine shooters and some of her writing reminds me of that.

She had a “boyfriend“ but he wasn’t really a boyfriend. They never met, he was an online acquaintance. This is a very complicated topic, but this is what is meant when it’s said, the reduction in teenage pregnancy, while obviously very positive, raises a couple troubling questions as to why? Is one reason and our young people are not making actual contact with other young people who are physically present. This phenomenon of young people having The majority of their contacts online only is concerning.

There’s a lot to unpack in her writings and I recommend you look it up and read it for yourself.

It doesn’t appear she was transitioning, but she does mention of therapist, so I wonder if she was being treated with any medication.

Every single person in a situation who finds themself  hiding behind a desk or in a room praying the shooter doesn’t kick open the door, would rather have a gun than not. I understand the concerns about arming teachers (which are dramatically overblown for political purposes) but there are ways around potential pitfalls to that. Number one, you can start recruiting teachers who are qualified to carry weapons. That would be a good first step. Does that solve every problem? No of course not, but a big problem requires incremental steps to find a solution. That’s one step that can be taken.

Hiring veterans/retired cops for security/teaching is a good source.  Some do that now, but more would be better.
