below where you put your password, there should be a pull down to select permanent login

The pull down is on the right hand side, but it does not work for me, not so far at least.

I meant forum template.
I use default, but other templates vary and I've used them before.

I have been logged in for the past 24 hours, so it looks like the problem has somehow now been fixed.
