It's an agate, cut, and engraved, with some of the work so small, it's less than a millimeter. Clearly not a bull riders belt buckle. The whole thing is like the size of a thumb. Not Tom's thumb,,a regular thumb.

Thanks,, that is a much better site. I didn't know it was so encrusted in limestone.

Due to the seal's small size and veining on the stone, many of the miniature details are only clearly visible via photomicroscopy..

How did they do that?

Hay JOG , I'm thinking it's an "inlay for a Bota-Tie" , I've got one kind of like it to wear with my Blue-Jeans Western Snap Pear button Shirt , Brown Boots and Brown Belt. ;)

No hat , it would knock my hair out of place ! A fella can't always "Be Good"
But ya can usually "Look Good" anyway ! ;D
